My two best final pieces were the two most recent ones, the piece from abstractions and the piece from openings as in this point in time I was more confident with my photography skills and I knew what to do better. Abstractions was slightly more difficult than openings because for one it was the first project that we were given a lot of freedom in but also because unlike openings I didn't connect the piece to me or make it more original because I just took a lot of inspiration from Fukase and did work that looked very similar to his instead of creating my own. I learnt that creating my own work that has meaning to me not only makes it easier to create a piece but also makes it more enjoyable as I am creating things that I enjoy and expressing myself through my outcomes and experiments. Openings was my realisation that I have to be different, that means thinking differently by looking at everything from a different perspective and that goes to life too. Different perspective can apply to the meaning that the photos have or a different perspective through a different angle or different filter that gives a completely different mood to the photo itself or maybe even some text that explains what the photo is which is what I started doing, combining all these different ideas of perspective and created my own work that I think turned out well. My expansion and growth of thoughts has allowed me to create more, I feel like the expansion of thoughts and growth allows someone to become more creative and in my opinion it helped me to create my most recent peace and it made it more easier to make more creative and interesting looking work that I have applied my own thoughts onto and that people can perceive the work as they want to and create their own ideas from the colours, angles and subjects in the images and conclude what the meaning and symbolism behind it actually is. I not only learnt how to just take a normal picture from both projects but I learnt how to take more interesting photographs and learnt how digitally but also physically manipulate the photographs like I have in both projects.
